No Surprise Here: Michael Jackson Is Not the Biological Father of His Children

I suppose it’s not any big secret that Michael Jackson isn’t the biological father of his children. That’s because the children are white. It’s something that we all knew but didn’t discuss, and people would throw out comments like, “Well, you know, just because someone has one black parent doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to look black.” And, ya know, maybe that’s true, but it’s pretty much guaranteed that they’re not going look like little Swedish kids either. It was obvious these weren’t his biological kids.

Now Us Weekly claims they’ve found the real father — an LA-based dermatologist named Arnold Klein, who was Debbie Rowe’s boss at one point, and who is white.

“He is the dad,” says a Jackson insider. “He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth.”

I wonder what kind of impact — if any — something like this will have on the custody proceedings.

Arnold Klein: Biological Father of Michael Jackson's Children

Michael Jackson used to be married to Debbie Rowe, but neither were the biological parents of the singer's first two children, Michael Jr., 12, and Paris, 11.

Their father is Arnold Klein, Jackson's L.A.-based dermatologist and Rowe's former boss, multiple sources confirm to celebrity gossip magazine Us Weekly.

"He is the dad," says an insider of Arnold Klein, who has not commented. "He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth."

While Debbie Rowe and Michael Jackson never confessed to their kids' true lineage, she did admit in 2002 that she carried his children as a "personal favor."

Neither has confirmed that the marriage was ever consummated.

"I said, 'Let me do this. You need to be a dad. You have been so good to me,'" Rowe - who met Jackson when she was a nurse's assistant in the 1980s - has said.

News that Michael Jackson is not the biological father of any of his kids surfaced earlier today. Now we've learned he never legally adopted them either.

Neither Jackson nor Debbie Rowe are the biological parents of Michael Jr. and Paris. Nor is Michael the biological parent of Prince Michael Jackson II.

Jackson never filed legal papers to adopt any of his children. Legal experts say Jackson would be presumed the father but it's not conclusive by any means.

As for why Jackson didn't formally adopt them - some speculate at the time they were born, there was no third party he though would try to claim custody.

Jackson apparently never thought Rowe would mount a custody battle, which wasn't totally absurd, as she actually tried to give up all rights to them once.

However, the music icon's death at the age of 50 last Thursday, along with today's developments, has everyone guessing where the children will end up.

New York Yankees Acquire Eric Hinske

about 2 hours ago: Pittsburgh Pirates' Eric Hinske steps to the plate against the Colorado Rockies in the first inning of a baseball game in Denver on Sunday, June 21, 2009. (AP Photo/David Zalubowski)

For the second straight season, Eric Hinske took a low-cost deal and yet again he finds himself in the American League East.

2008 Hinske: .247/.333/.465

2009 Hinske: .255/.373/.368

Hinske's ISO is teetering on a career low - something playing in Yankee Stadium should correct soon enough - but his BABIP is also nearing a career high at .333, so expect some trade-off between the two. ZiPS has Hinske worth 1.2 offensive runs all season, which is about five runs less than the Rays pulled from him last season. Presumably Hinske becomes the Yankees super-sub, filling in for Alex Rodriguez at third base, Mark Teixeira at first base, getting a few reps at DH, and some outfield time. He's a nice upgrade, but much like the playing time, the upside will be limited.

The worst news is Cody Ransom's time in the Bronx could be over, ending the purge on replacement level infielders. Neither of the ‘prospects' given up seem to be worth too much. Casey Erickson is a minor league reliever/spot starter with a pretty nice track record, but he's mainly a reliever, and that's not overly valuable. Eric Fryer had one really good season and not much else.

I can't blame the Pirates for flipping Hinske and without getting something sexy in return. He's on a cheap one-year deal without a gaudy first-half to back him up like last year. It's a nice deal for New York, adding about a win alongside A-Rod insurance.

Yankees Trade for Eric Hinske

by Tom Fornelli

Yankees acquire Eric HinskeWhen the St. Louis Cardinals traded for Mark DeRosa over the weekend, it was basically the start of teams swapping players before the July 31 trade deadline. Traditionally teams wait for one big domino to fall before they start wheeling and dealing, so it's no surprise that the Yankees and Pirates have now worked out a deal amongst themselves.

In Tuesday morning trade, the Yankees acquired Eric Hinske from the Pirates for two minor leaguers.

Redmond O `Neal may leave jail for three hours to bid farewell to his mother in a ceremony tonight at the Cathedral of Los Angeles

Redmond O `Neal, son of actors Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O` Neal, obtained permission to leave prison today for three hours to attend the funeral of his mother, who died last week.

The religious services were held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Los Angeles at 2300 GMT.

Fawcett, who was diagnosed with cancer in September 2006, died on June 25 to 62 years of age after prolonged chemical treatment and surgery in the United States and Germany.

Redmond O `Neal, 24, was convicted in 2008 for possession of heroin and methamphetamines, but received the benefit of probation.

However, last September the police began an investigation at the residence of his father, Ryan O `Neal, where he lived, and found methamphetamine, which was sent to prison.

A court authorized to Redmond on Monday, participating in what the Police Department of Los Angeles as "an intensive program of rehabilitation for drug addicts, to leave prison today for three hours and attend the funeral, accompanied at all times by a policeman.

The authorities will allow the couple use their clothes instead of uniforms of the county jail.

Funeral for Farrah Fawcett today in downtown L.A.

A private funeral Mass will be said this afternoon for actress Farrah Fawcett at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles.

The "Charlie's Angels" star died Thursday of a rare cancer at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge issued an ordered that would allow Fawcett's 24-year-old son, Redmond O'Neal, who has been jailed on a pair of drug-related cases, to attend her funeral. O'Neal will be able to wear civilian clothes and will be accompanied by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.

After the funeral, O'Neal will be returned to Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, where he is undergoing what the Sheriff's Department calls an "intense drug rehabilitation program."

Jackson's legacy honored at BET Awards

The BET Awards became the official Michael Jackson TV celebration on Sunday, with joyous tributes to the King of Pop from a New Edition medley of Jackson 5 songs to host Jamie Foxx's tender monologue delivered in that classic red leather zipper jacket and white glove.

"No need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man," said Foxx, who kicked off the show with a re-enactment of the choreography from Jackson's iconic "Beat It" video in front of the star-studded crowd, on its feet from the start of the show.

Joe Jackson, the singer's father, was on hand to represent the grief-stricken family. "I just wish he could be here to celebrate himself," he said. "Sadly, he's not here, so I'm here to celebrate for him."

Already an affair of major star wattage, the night's show at the Shrine Auditorium was thrown under a white-hot spotlight in the wake of Michael Jackson's death on Thursday, adding attendees and guests, doubling the number of media requests, adding an extra half-hour to the telecast and even lengthening the red carpet to accommodate all who wanted to take part.

Backstage, Ciara recounted talking on the phone with her idol and her regrets that she never got to meet him. As she talked, she started to cry. "He meant so much to me," she said through tears.

While Jackson's incredible influence stretched across genres, races and cultures, he had a unique place in the world of black entertainment. His influence is arguably most visible in urban music, seen in stars like Usher who mimic his dance moves, to Ne-Yo, whose music is marked by its Jackson-isms.

But that influence went beyond music: Jackson was black America's biggest star, who broke racial barriers that allowed for so many other superstars to follow.

"Michael Jackson was so important to our world, to our country, to this network," said BET Chairwoman Debra L Lee. "Michael was truly a musical diety."

Producers of the annual awards show - which recognizes the best in music, acting and sports - revamped the show to meet the moment. While Beyonce and T.I. were the leading award nominees with five apiece, giving out trophies was an afterthought: Honoring Jackson was became the show's main focus.

While some performed their own hits, most made sure to incorporate some of the man who influenced them in their performances. A chant of "Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson" was heard while Keri Hilson performed, and Foxx's "Blame It" incorporated some of the Jacksons' dance hit "Blame It On the Boogie."

Throughout the night, Foxx also regularly turned up in some of Jackson's signature looks, like the wide-collar black leather outfit from "Billie Jean."

New Edition, the 1980s teen sensations who were considered that generation's Jackson 5 with their own version of bubble-gum soul, ran through several of the Jackson 5's greatest hits, from "I Want You Back" to "ABC," mirroring their idols right down to the group's original choreography. Ne-Yo sang one of Jackson's most sensual songs, "Lady in my Life."

"He's the man who made it possible for me to be on the stage; I love you and I miss you," he said later.

Ciara sang Jackson's humanitarian anthem, "Heal the World," dressed in a jacket that had Jackson's signature military epaulets.

And winners acknowledged Jackson when they received their awards.

"This is for you, Michael Jackson," said Beyonce, as she held her trophy for best female R&B artist skyward. "I have to thank Michael for being my future and my hero."

"We all know none of us in this in this room wouldn't be here for Michael Jackson," said Lil Wayne, as he picked up his award for best male hip-hop star.

"My heart and prayers go out to the whole Jackson family," said basketball star LeBron James, who won best male athlete.

Not every moment had the stamp of Jackson. Foxx resurrected his "In Living Color" character Wanda and paired it with another cross-dressing classic character, Martin Lawrence's Sheneneh, for a hilarious parody of an "upcoming movie": "Skank Robbers."

Beyonce gave a simultaneously sexy and angelic performance of "Ave Maria"; Ne-Yo brought out some of the hitmaking male R&B acts of the 1980s and 1980s, from Bell Biv Devoe to Guy.

But even without a direct Jackson reference, there was usually a Jackson connection, as all of those artists counted Jackson as an inspiration. And Eddie Levert of the classic R&B group the O'Jays talked about how much he'd miss Jackson even as his group was honored with a lifetime achievement award.

Jackson connections were inescapable: Even the building where the ceremony took place, the Shrine auditorium, was where Jackson's hair and scalp were burned during the filming of a Pepsi commercial in 1984. It was also the location for several of his Grammy and American Music Award performances.

Jackson Doctor Describes Final Moments To Police

LOS ANGELES — The cardiologist who was with Michael Jackson during the pop star's final moments sat down with investigators for three hours to explain his actions, and his spokeswoman says he is not a suspect.

Dr. Conrad Murray, a physician with a tangled financial and personal history who was hired to accompany Jackson on his planned summer concert tour, reportedly performed CPR until paramedics arrived at Jackson's rented home. The pop star was declared dead later at UCLA Medical Center.

In his interview with police, the doctor "helped identify the circumstances around the death of the pop icon and clarified some inconsistencies," Murray's spokeswoman Miranda Sevcik said in a statement Saturday. "Investigators say the doctor is in no way a suspect and remains a witness to this tragedy."

The statement said Murray has been in Los Angeles since Jackson's death, and plans to stay here until his cooperation is no longer needed.

Police confirmed that they interviewed Murray, adding that he was cooperative and "provided information which will aid the investigation."

The interview took place on a busy day when one of Jackson's lawyers was chosen to represent the family's legal interests and celebrities descended on Los Angeles for a star-studded public celebration of the King of Pop's life at the annual BET awards show.

President Barack Obama has written to Michael Jackson's family expressing condolence, White House adviser David Axelrod said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." Obama did not issue a statement following Jackson's death, but the White House has said the president saw the pop star as a spectacular performer whose life had sad and tragic aspects.

L. Londell McMillan, who represented Jackson last year in a breach of contact lawsuit and has advised high-profile clients such as Prince, was picked to help the family by Katherine Jackson, the singer's mother, said a person who requested anonymity because the matter is private.

The legal move came as the Rev. Jesse Jackson revealed that Michael Jackson's family wants a second, private autopsy of the pop superstar because of unanswered questions about how he died.

"It's abnormal," Jesse Jackson said from Chicago a day after visiting the Jackson family. "We don't know what happened. Was he injected and with what? All reasonable doubt should be addressed."

People close to Jackson have said since his death that they were concerned about his use of painkillers. Los Angeles County medical examiners completed their autopsy Friday and said Jackson had taken prescription medication.

Medical officials also said there was no indication of trauma or foul play. An official cause of death could take weeks.

There was no word from the Jackson family on funeral plans. Many of Jackson's relatives have gathered at the family's Encino compound, caring there for Jackson's three children.

It remains unclear who Jackson designated as potential guardians for his children. Those details _ likely contained in the 50-year-old singer's will _ have not been released.

An attorney for Deborah Rowe, the mother of Jackson's two oldest children, issued a statement Saturday asking that the Jackson family "be able to say goodbye to their loved one in peace."

Sisters Janet and La Toya arrived Saturday at the mansion Jackson had been renting and left without addressing reporters. Moving vans also showed up at the Jackson home, leaving about an hour later. There was no indication what they might have taken away.

The Jackson family issued a statement Saturday expressing its grief over the death and thanking his supporters.

"In one of the darkest moments of our lives we find it hard to find the words appropriate to this sudden tragedy we all had to encounter," said the statement made through People magazine. "We miss Michael endlessly."

There was no immediate word on whether the second autopsy was being performed right away. Jesse Jackson described the family as grief-stricken.

"They're hurt because they lost a son. But the wound is now being kept open by the mystery and unanswered questions of the cause of death," he said.

Organizers of the annual BET awards show _ which recognizes the best in music, acting and sports _ scrambled to revamp Sunday's show to honor Jackson and his legacy.

Previously announced acts, such as Beyonce and Ne-Yo, hoped to change their planned performances to honor Jackson, said producer Stephen Hill. Other artists who hadn't planned to attend the ceremony, including Usher and Justin Timberlake, tried to catch last-minute flights to Los Angeles to participate.

Billy Mays Dead At 50 | Billy Mays Deaths

You have to wonder if before going to sleep last night, pitchman Billy Mays thought of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon, and said to himself one last time, "but wait, there's more!"

The OxyClean pitchman was found dead this morning in his Tampa home. No foul play is suspected, although the wires are reporting that Mays might have hit his head yesterday when a U.S. Airways flight he was on blew out a tire while landing.

Born William Mays in McKees Rocks, Pa., on July 20, 1958, Mays developed his style demonstrating knives, mops and other "as seen on TV" gadgets on Atlantic City's boardwalk. For years he worked as a hired gun on the state fair and home show circuits, attracting crowds with his booming voice and genial manner.

After meeting Orange Glo International founder Max Appel at a home show in Pittsburgh in the mid-1990s, Mays was recruited to demonstrate the environmentally friendly line of cleaning products on the St. Petersburg-based Home Shopping Network.

Commercials and informercials followed, anchored by the high-energy Mays showing how it's done while tossing out kitschy phrases like, "Long live your laundry!"

Recently he's been seen on commercials for a wide variety of products and is featured on the reality TV show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel, which follows Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs. He's also been seen in ESPN ads.

His ubiquitousness and thumbs-up, in-your-face pitches won Mays plenty of fans. People line up at his personal appearances for autographed color glossies, and strangers stop him in airports to chat about the products.

"I enjoy what I do," Mays told The Associated Press in a 2002 interview. "I think it shows."

His emphatic gesticulations will be missed.

What Killed Billy Mays?

billy-mays-killed

Was Billy Mays killed after something fell on his head during a rough landing on a US Airways flight - or was it the fact that he wasn’t wearing a seat belt that killed him?

So far, there seems to be differing opinions.

The FAA is claiming that Mays was not wearing a seat belt during Flight 1241’s landing, a landing in which passengers clearly should have been belted up. A spokesperson told TMZ: “The passenger needs to wear a seat belt during landing and he didn’t.”

However, Mays did a brief interview with FOX 13 in Tampa after the wild landing, and claimed that something fell on his head, leaving us to wonder if the bonk to his head may have caused his untimely death.

Billy told FOX 13 in Tampa:

“All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”

I want to let you in on a little secret . . . every time I go out of town and have a guest blogger, a celebrity dies. No joke. I even said to my husband before our trip, “I wonder who is going to die this time?” Geeze, little did I know that Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Billy Mays would all die.

Good thing I don’t plan on going out of town for awhile.

Farrah Fawcett beats Michael Jackson in the ratings

Farrah Fawcett vs. Michael Jackson
With all the press coverage given to Michael Jackson, you'd think a special about his life would trample the ratings of all the other networks. Apparently, that isn't the case as an ABC special about the life of Farrah Fawcett won in the ratings against a similar Michael Jackson retrospective on CBS.

I think it likely helped that Barbara Walters hosted the ABC special (which was a 20/20 special and therefore had more name value than a generic special), whereas the special on Jacko was simply a CBS documentary. I'm still amazed at the rapid turnaround time that the networks can produce specials like these. They have turned it into an art.

It is debatable over who was the bigger name, although both were icons on their time. Jackson seems to be getting more coverage because his death was more of a surprise than Farrah's. Either way, Thursday was a hell of a day.

Michael Jackson: The 9-1-1 Call

While the details surrounding his death are still being sought, a transcript from the frantic 9-1-1 call attempting to save Michael Jackson's life has just been released.

In the call placed from Michael's Holmby Hills mansion, the caller says, "He's not breathing!" before continuing to press the operator for assistance.

"We have a gentleman who needs help," the still unidentified caller continued in a desperate manner.

Making sure not to say Jackson's name over the phone, the 9-1-1 caller stated that a 50-year-old male was receiving CPR by his personal doctor, telling, "He's pumping his chest and he's not responding."

Shortly thereafter, Jackson was pronounced dead at UCLA Medical Center. An autopsy is currently underway, with results to be released as available.

Michael Jackson: Autopsy Announcement Delayed

As media agencies fight for position outside of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, reporters were put on hold, once more, as the Michael Jackson post-autopsy announcement has been delayed for "an hour to an hour and a half."

Upon receiving the news, the crowd of press agents were told that the Chief Investigator will be delivering the message sometime around 6PM EST.

No further information was made available, with a police spokesperson quickly being barraged with questions from the anxious news outlets.

After a bit of prodding, the police spokesman did, however, say that it would probably be somewhere around 50 days before results from the toxicology reports would be finalized.

What Will Happen To Jacksons Kids

They are rarely seen in public, and when they are, it is usually with their faces are usually obscured. It is doubt over who is their biological father is, these are just some of the obstructions facing Michael Jackson’s children.

Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael II (more commonly known as Blanket), 7, Who will bring them to adulthood?

Michael Jackson has been the only parent these children have known, and now he’s gone, so despite rumours the King of Pop’s mother, Katherine Jackson, will care for the three children, and Jacksons Manager Frank DiLeo’s comments “The kids are very upset, but they are fine,” Michael Jackson’s kids face a very uncertain future.

One likely claimant will be Debbie Rowe, Jackson’s second wife and the biological mother of Prince Michael and Paris but what about Blanket he was born of an unidentified surrogate mother in Europe.

According to Rowe’s former attorney, Iris Finsilver, Rowe is never gave up parental writes so is still the legal parent of Prince Michael and Paris and can gain custody of them if she chooses, says People.
Comment on this Article

During a 2005 custody fight with Jackson, Rowe sought to give up her parental rights, and praised Jackson as a good father. Judge Stephen Lachs, who presided over the hearing, at first agreed to terminate Rowe’s rights, but then changed his mind and returned them to her.

Meanwhile the Jackson family attorney Brian Oxman described Rowe as “inconsolable.” telling People that Katherine Jackson “is the logical choice” to be guardian of the children. “She has all the grandkids and nieces around her,” he said. “But it will be up to the courts. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more proceedings regarding the children.”

Rowe could indeed claim custody in court, though it known if Jackson’s will addresses the custody question, but his wishes would not necessarily prevail in court, say legal analysts.

When dealing with children, the first concern of the court i wWhat’s in the best interest of those children.

Rowe’s contact with the children has been very limited with children looked after by their father, who educated them at home. Jackson took them to museums usually after hours exposed them to books, and limited their exposure to television. But the children did not have contact with other children.

There is no doubt Jackson was a devoted dad even though there wasn’t a regular home as the children travelled the world from the U.S. to India, to Dubai, the one constant in their lives was their father.

Those who have met the children describe them as intelligent and well-behaved who had a strong the bond between father and kids.

Godfather Mark Lester is the children’s religious mentor. Lester told TODAY that he had not yet contacted Jackson’s extended family. He said he was ready to do whatever he is called on to do, but said that he expected that the family will embrace the children.

“I would imagine his mother, sisters, brothers would rally around and care for the children,” Lester said. “The Jackson family is a very large family, and in times of need, families get together and put aside differences.”

The children, Lester added, “are the sweetest, happiest kids that you can imagine. They are not as you would perceive children of a superstar. They’re very bright and very dedicated children. They are three of the most adorable, nice children.”

Michael Jackson Life Story

Born August 29, 1958 in Indiana (USA).

His parents were Joe and Katherine Jackson, a crane operator at a factory that was in financial difficulties to maintain their large family, completed by the brothers and sisters Michael: 5 higher than him, Rebbie Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, La Toya Jackson (also a singer) and Marlon Jackson, and 2 younger: Randy Jackson and Janet Jackson popular.

Joe, who was an amateur musician decided to create the group The Jackson Five with Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael (years later he joined Randy). After a somewhat difficult start this young band won a resounding success by becoming one of the precursors of the phenomenon of teen-themed genres like R & B, soul funk and disco. Among his extensive discography albums and compilations included as "Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5" (1969), "ABC" (1970), "Third Album" (1970), "Christmas Album" (1970), "Goin 'Back To Indiana "(1971)," Greatest Hits "(1970)," Maybe Tomorrow "(1971)," Lookin 'Through The Windows "(1972)," Skywriter "(1973)," Get It Together "(1973)," Dancing Machine "(1974)," Moving Violation "(1975) and" Joyful Jukebox Music "(1976), all edited by the legendary Motown.

Later came a more mature stage in which it began to be called "The Jacksons" and where they recorded the albums "The Jacksons" (1976), "Goin 'Places" (1977), "Destiny" (1978), "Triumph" (1980 ), "Live" (1981) and "Victory" (1984), which was the last collaboration with his brother Michael.

Although Michael had already done some solo albums such as "Got To Be There" (1971), the soundtrack of the movie "Ben" (1972), "Music And Me" (1973) and "Forever, Michael" (1975) his consecration alone failed to cooperate with the record producer Quincy Jones, for which he recorded the hit album "Off The Wall."

Both returned to work in 1982 at the legendary and monumental "Thriller", to date the best selling album in history (with 32 million copies) and it finally became the king of pop worldwide.

His good run continued with the flagship charity single "We Are the World" (which worked with many stars of the music) and albums such as "Bad" (1987) and "Dangerous" (1991), the latter no longer Quincy Jones collaboration.

In the late 90 and early twenty-first century came following his work "HIStory: Past, Present and Future - Book I" (1995), "Blood On The Dance Floor" (1997), "Invincible" (2001), the which the last two results were quite discreet. His discography is completed with the compilations "Number Ones" (2003), "The Ultimate Collection" (2004), "The Essential Michael Jackson" (2005), "Visionary - The Video Singles" (2006), "Thriller: 25th Anniversary Edition "(2007) and" King of Pop "(2008).

We also made some inroads as an actor in the movie "The Wizard" (1978) or the strange "Moonwalker" (1987), a film that mixes documentary material with video clips and some pieces of fiction in which they played themselves. His life was fraught with great concerts, revolutionary choreography, great and historic video clips and many eccentricities (strange statements, controversial operations that damaged their physical or their marriages with Lisa Marie Presley and Debie Roe (with whom he had two children through insemination articificial) gave plenty to talk about). In recent years the pedophile allegations damaged her image almost irreparable. At an early date was scheduled to begin a new concert tour. He died on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50 years as a result of a heart attack. All those who enjoy their music with us to stay with his musical legacy and his enormous talent. With his death, the music lost one of its most important and influential figures of the past 30 years. On this occasion our In Memoriam has been shorter and more concise than usual, because we have seen its history, and there still remain in force in the retinas and ears of a whole generation of artists and their size on over words.

Zoey Zane Killer Back in U.S.

The killer of Emily Sander, an 18 year-old college student and one time internet porn star “Zoey Zane” was extradited from Mexico back to the United States. Tippy Tom Died 45 year-old

Keith the Cop, who was responsible for finding many of the bums for the 2001 Homeless Shopping Spree, came across a rare find – a 45 year-old guy named Tippy Tom, who had been on the streets of New York for over 2 decades. Tom is gay and has AIDS.tippy tom died Once during an appearance on the XM Radio show he fell asleep and could not be woken up; Master Po poured water in his ear and ended up reviving him.

Allegedly before his homelessness, Tippy Tom was a health conscious person and a successful businessman (he had a window washing business), and even had a wife and kid. He also had a gambling problem, which may have led to his being on the streets. At one time, Tom was cleaned up and called into the show sober (and sounded really gay), but his sobriety didn't take.

Nowadays, Tom still roams the streets with his legs all black; it's possible he may lose them. Tom's brother had also been trying to get in touch with him to tell him that his mother had died. Opie revealed the news of her death to him at the end of the April 10, 2008 show, by passing a note to him to read. O&A also had fun with Tom when they found out he gets sad at the movie Sophie's Choice, and played the clip where Sophie has to choose which of her children must die, to which Tom got very emotional.

Tippy Tom's shitty underpants were also used by Pat Duffy to make an underpants mustache, similar to Opie's Baby Diaper Mustache Day.

It was reported on June 26, 2009 that Tippy Tom died May 6. RIP.

Celebs Comments on michael jackson death

michael jackson's body transported

michael jackson's body is being airlifted to the l.a. county coroner's office -- where an autopsy will be performed tomorrow.

john landis calls the man he sued "tragic"

we just got a statement from john landis -- the man who directed michael jackson for the "thriller" and "black and white" videos. it's somewhat harsh -- not surprising, because landis has an active lawsuit against jackson, claiming the singer stiffed him over profits for the broadway musical of "thriller."

landis says, "i was lucky enough to know and work with michael jackson in his prime. michael was an extraordinary talent and a truly great international star. he had a troubled and complicated life and despite his gifts, remains a tragic figure. my wife deborah and i will always have great affection for him."

liz taylor -- 'too devastated' to comment

tmz has just heard from elizabeth taylor's people who tell us:

"dame elizabeth taylor is too devastated by the passing of her dear friend michael jackson to issue a statement at this time."

taylor, who was a close and dear friend to jackson for several years, was the one who dubbed him the "king of pop."

jackson danced and sang last night

we've learned michael jackson showed no unusual signs of distress -- he was rehearsing his upcoming concert at the staples center in l.a. but, we're told, like other nights of rehearsal, jackson was both hours late and lethargic.

we're told rehearsal went late into the evening. jackson was singing and dancing with the backup dancers and the band. someone who was there says jackson was supposed to show at 7 pm but didn't arrive until 10 and he was "listless." but that was normal, according to people at rehearsal.

right now, some of the cast and crew are at staples, packing up their stuff.

corey feldman -- jackson was my 'idol'

corey feldman -- who was friends with michael jackson when he was a child -- just released the following statement on his website.

"unfortunately michael and i had a falling out on septenmber 10th 2001 and that broken friendship had never been repaired. i have stayed close with his family through the years. as a matter of fact my wife and i attended latoyas birthday thrown by janet 3 weeks ago on susie's actual birthday. michael was supposed to be there and we were supposed to try and talk things out. michael didn't show because he was stuck in rehearsals for his upcoming tour.

i am trembling and shaking at the moment and it is very hard to type. i am filled with tremendous sadness and remorse. all i choose to remember from this point is the good times we shared and what an inspiration he was to me and the rest of the world. nobody will ever be able to do what michael jackson has done in this industry, and he was so close to doing it all again. i am truly, and deeply sorry for all of the heartbroken fans and supporters worldwide. i think i am still in shock. so i must end this now.

as far as our concert on saturday at universal goes. i will not cancel this show it is a very positive first step in implementing a better standard for the touring world and music industry. as michael taught me a long time ago......the show must go on. it will be a hard one to get through. but i will brave it and do the only thing i know how to do.........perform
."

michael jackson's autopsy expedited
there will be no waiting around -- we're told michael jackson's autopsy will be performed by the l.a. county coroner tomorrow.

Phoenix, a former family publicist and advisor to Jackson's brother Tito tells WENN, "The family is in mourning right now. They are devastated and very hurt.

"The world of entertainment has suffered a great loss, the biggest since the death of Elvis Presley. It hurts me to think that one of the world's great entertainers has passed. I wish that he had been here a lot longer."

Phoenix explains to WENN he has been telling the Jacksons that the 50 year old superstar was gravely ill for some time, and he feared the singer's planned 50 comeback shows in London would kill him.

He says, "I'm a family friend, and, as a family friend, I let Joe (father) and Tito (brother) know my concerns. I just knew in my heart he was not right and I tried telling the family that and it never sunk in.
"Michael put his heart and soul into these shows... but his heart and his physical being just wouldn't hold out.
"This is a terribly sad day."

'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Danielle vs The Manzos, part II

Tonight was the second part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, and if you thought Teresa losing her mind at the last supper was something, wait until you hear what Caroline did. Andy starts off by asking Dina about her bitchiness, which she denies by saying she just has real issues. Perhaps its just because I, like most Americans, am not living any sort of Real Housewife lifestyle...but I am willing to trade my real issues for hers. Any day. Please? We also earn that her hairless cat Grandma Wrinkles smells like french fries and that the assistant she interviewed as if she were Mrs. Robinson is actually someone shes known since he was 9. And I think that actually makes it much, much creepier. Andy then asks Danielle if she had a relationship with Don Johnson. She attempts to act demure and says Yes, many years ago. Andy then hits her with...

Michael Jackson ist tot

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, ist tot!

According to numerous media, including the LA Times and TMZ, Michael Jackson is yesterday evening after a cardiac arrest died.

When the doctors at his home in Los Angeles arrived, they found only Michael Jackson with a cardiac and respiratory arrest before. In just under two Woken wanted his fanatic Michael Jackson comeback tour start. It is now sadly no more, because Michael Jackson is dead Who him again in his white socks in action, you can do so.

Michael Jackson's health woes took center stage

LOS ANGELES — Over Michael Jackson's chart-topping music career, his health has commanded as much publicity as his hit songs.

Plastic surgery, mysterious hospitalizations and reports of pill popping have long plagued the King of Pop.

The circumstances surrounding Jackson's death Thursday were sketchy, but the pop icon apparently collapsed from cardiac arrest at his rented Bel-Air home.

The reclusive singer was reportedly found unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics performed CPR and rushed him to the hospital _ a six-minute drive away _ where he was pronounced dead.

Jackson's unexpected death at age 50 during a comeback attempt stunned the world despite a history of health problems _ some real and others rumored _ that have been fodder for tabloids and gossip columns speculating wildly about his woes.

In the early 1990s, Jackson's dermatologist revealed the singer had a skin disorder known as vitiligo, which leads to white patches on the skin. Over the years, Jackson underwent numerous plastic surgeries, including a nose job.

Jackson was also widely reported to be addicted to painkillers from pain he developed after he was burned while filming a Pepsi commercial in 1984.

During his 2005 molestation trial in which he was acquitted, Jackson appeared gaunt and had recurring back problems he attributed to stress. The trial was interrupted several times by hospital visits. Jackson once even appeared late to court dressed in his pajamas after an emergency room visit.

Last year, a celebrity biographer claimed Jackson suffered from a rare respiratory disease and was in need of a lung transplant _ a claim his publicists have denied.

Chatter about Jackson's health surfaced again last month after his representatives postponed several of his London comeback shows, citing the need for more rehearsal time. A previous attempt by Jackson to relaunch his career was sidetracked amid reports of ill health and court action.

Jackson was in the process of preparing for an epic 50-concert stand in London that had him rehearsing long hours. Jackson was described "very frail," but worked hard, Johnny Caswell, a principal at Centerstaging, where Jackson rehearsed for the concerts, told the Los Angeles Times.

Michael Levine, a Hollywood publicist who represented Jackson in the early 1990s, said that the pressures of emotional, physical, legal, financial and spiritual dysfunction caught up with Jackson.

"It's a toxic mix that nobody can withstand," he said.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. His brother, Jermaine, told a news conference that Jackson was believed to have suffered cardiac arrest, a condition that afflicts 300,000 Americans a year.

"However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother said.

Cardiac arrest strikes without warning. It occurs when the heart's electrical system goes haywire and the heart suddenly stops beating. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.

"In the absence of details, it's hard to know if he had a cardiac arrest or if he stopped breathing," said Dr. Leslie Saxon, chief of cardiovascular medicine at the University of Southern California.

Fewer than 5 percent of those who suffer cardiac arrest survive, according to medical experts.

During cardiac arrest, brain cells die within minutes. It is reversible if a person receives an electric shock to the heart to restore normal heartbeat.

Each minute that passes without restoring normal heart rhythm, the odds of survival decreases by 10 percent.

"There's a huge public health message," said Dr. Clyde Yancy, a heart specialist at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and president of the American Heart Association.

"When someone collapses abruptly, call 911, and if they're not breathing, start CPR," Yancy said.

Elena Baltacha targets Dinara Safina showdown

Elena Baltacha will draw on nine years of Wimbledon experience in her bid to line up a third-round clash with top seed Dinara Safina.

The 25-year-old British number two faces world number 110 Kirsten Flipkens, of Belgium, in second-round action today, with world number one Safina almost certainly awaiting the winner on Saturday.

Baltacha succeeded where nine of her 11 compatriots failed by getting past the first round but this is far from uncharted territory for the Kiev-born former British number one.

She famously beat South African Amanda Coetzer to reach the third round seven years ago and victory tomorrow would be her sixth at the All England Club, going back to her first visit in 2001.

Dinara Safina battles knee problem

Dinara Safina is hoping a problematic knee will not get in the way of her Wimbledon challenge as she prepares for her second round meeting with Rossana De Los Rios of Paraguay later today.

The world number one battled through the pain barrier in her opening win over Lourdes Dominguez Lino having been struck by tendinitis, the same injury which forced Rafael Nadal to withdraw from the men's event.

Safina is aiming to win her first grand slam title, and is keeping her fingers crossed her knee will not deteriorate as the tournament progresses.

"It's been bothering me already since April, since the clay court season," said the Russian.

"In some tournaments I'm playing just on Voltaren (a painkiller) because it's so painful to go on the knee on the serve.

"Since the move to grass, the surface is softer, so I have to push more. But I'm having treatment here so hopefully I can play. It's nothing that's killing me."

Ed McMahon is dead

Don't think I ever watched a full episode of the Carson-era Tonight show, even after I was old enough to a) take an interest in talk-shows, and b) stay up late. My impressions of McMahon were actually formed largely from reading some jokes about him in Mad Magazine, where they made fun of him for being a second-fiddle who never says anything memorable. Plus, I remember him from the Dick Clark bloopers show in the '80s.

Ed McMahon Interviews Kevin Steele & Diana Frerick

Ed had a radio show called Lifestyles with Ed McMahon and he interviewed up while we were in Universal Studios in Florida! What an honor it was!

Remembering Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon told a Las Vegas radio station in an interview a few years ago that his tombstone might include the two things he wanted to be remembered for: "Being a great broadcaster and a great Marine."

McMahon, best known as Johnny Carson's big-voiced sidekick, died Tuesday at age 86.

Before his health took a turn for the worse over the past year, he had shared some of his favorite "Tonight Show" memories with the morning crew at KKLZ-FM, 96.3 (Mike O'Brian, Jim Tofte and Charly Kayle).

McMahon told them his top-three favorite replacement guest hosts for Carson were Don Rickles, Bob Newhart and Kermit the Frog.

The best practical joke Carson played on him?

As McMahon was leaving the NBC lot one night in his limo, security stopped him and asked to search the trunk.

5 Little Know Facts about Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon always seemed like a great guy with a good sense of humor. He will be missed. These little known facts about the guy put a smile on my face. :)

From the list, here’s something about "the human laugh track" and Top Second Banana that you may not have known:

Ed always knew he had a voice destined to be heard by the masses—and he started his training early. In 1938, at age15, he became a bingo caller, but that wasn't his only odd job over the years. To put himself through college, the Hollywood heavyweight worked as a pitchman for vegetable slicers on the boardwalk of Atlantic City and hawked pots and pans as a door-to-door salesman.Prior to that, he worked as a carnival barker for three years in Mexico, Maine.
